Dementia Awareness Week runs from 14-20 May 2017.
According to the Alzheimer’s Society, dementia is set to be the 21st century’s biggest killer. But awareness and understanding remains low and many families are facing it alone
That’s why, during the Week, the Alzheimer’s Society wants everyone to come together and take action.
There are plenty of ways you can support the week and everyone can play their part. Our Dementia Advisor team will be at the following venues for an informal chat and to answer any questions about living at home with dementia.
Patchway Library – Tuesday 16th May (10.30am – 1.00pm)
Thornbury Library – Wednesday 17th May (3.00pm – 5.30pm)
Yate Library – Thursday 18th May (2.00pm – 3.30pm & 5.00pm – 6.00pm)
