Combe Lea Festival of the Scarecrow

By 8th July 2019No Comments

You are invited to take part in the Combe Lea Festival of the Scarecrow.

Our Midsomer Norton Community Resource Centre is holding the event from 27 September to 29 September from 10am to 4pm.

The Festival is being organised by Combe Lea administrator Sue Bendall who said: “We are a community and we want to involve local people and organisations from across Midsomer Norton and beyond in this event. It will be fun and we are really looking forward to seeing a variety of contributions from traditional straw  to contemporary framework or some people may want to knit one. We don’t have a specific theme and we are looking forward to seeing people’s creations.

“The scarecrows will be displayed around Combe Lea and there will also be refreshments available throughout the weekend. Entry forms are available from the home or Sirona’s website. There will be a prize for the best dressed judged by town councillors.”
