High levels of flu, Covid-19 and scarlet fever are expected to continue in the coming weeks and the UK Health Security Agency has issued advice to help protect children and minimise the spread of illnesses.

Advice includes keeping your child home if they have a fever, diarrhoea or vomiting; washing hands regularly with warm water and soap; using a tissue to catch coughs and sneezes and binning it before washing your hands; and making sure eligible children are vaccinated against flu.
