Celebrating Community Services week takes place from today until Friday 20 October and will be shining a light on the role, breadth and importance of community health services.
Our Chief Executive Sue Porto has a key role in the campaign talking about the breadth and value of community services, the challenges we face and also, importantly the care and compassion shown by staff across the country.
Hosted by the NHS Confederation and NHS Providers, the week exists primarily on social media using #CelebratingCommunityServices to bring services to life, celebrate the sector’s successes and the impact this has on people’s lives.
In 2023, the focus is on the difference community services make for children and young people, and it will also feature a series of videos including features on our Lifetime Service and Baby Hubs
