Learn and Grow

Sirona’s learn and grow your own ethos means that, whether you are 16 or 66, you can progress your career with us. Many of our staff joined us when they left school and have since progressed with us to achieve professional and academic qualifications.

Our Learning and People Development team will support you. Our extensive learning and development opportunities include an impressive range of apprenticeships, mandatory training, and additional support for IT, numeracy and literacy skills.

At Sirona, we offer Apprenticeships, Preceptorships, T-Levels and Work Experience.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are for colleagues of any age  An Apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable experiences. Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices spend at least 20% of their working hours completing classroom-based learning.

Preceptorship

The 12-month preceptorship is a comprehensive, multi-professional programme designed for newly registered or transitioning practitioners, including newly qualified nurses, allied healthcare professionals, nursing associates, Band 4’s, and international registrants.

T-Levels

T-Levels are an alternative to A-Levels after GCSEs, offering a 2-year programme that awards a nationally recognised certificate. Created with employers, you will spend 80% of the time in the classroom and 20% of the time on a 45-day placement.

Work Experience

Work experience is an opportunity for direct experience of work within an organisational setting. Work experience includes some direct work for the organisation, alongside shadowing, which involves the observation of employees.
