Most children and young people thrive with the support of family, friends and other important adults in their lives. Our Children’s Services are here for you and your family if, and when, you need a little more help – whether you need some information about the support available, some one-to-one help or some more specialist support.
We will work with you and other services to look at what options are available to support you and family. The support available is based on five different levels of need:

This means: “I need someone to help me find out where to go for advice.”
This means: “I need help from a trained person. We set goals and have a plan in place if things do not help.
This means: “I need more help from trained people in different services. We set goals and have a plan in place if things do not help.”
This means: “Sometimes the help that people are offering me is not working which is having a significant impact on my well-being and safety. Those around me are working together to keep me safe.”
This means: “I know how to keep myself healthy and well. I know where to get support to do that.”
