Bladder and Bowel
Issues with continence can affect adults of all ages. Up to six million people in the UK experience urinary incontinence, with 10% of adults thought to experience bowel incontinence.
Our services support adults who are experiencing bladder and/or bowel problems.
Our specialist team are trained in supporting adults who are experiencing bladder and bowl problems. Following a full assessment they will recommend appropriate treatment. Many problems with continence are treatable; but if the problem can’t be cured, we’ll suggest ways to make it more manageable.
We also work closely with other healthcare staff who care for people with bladder and bowel problems, and provide expertise, training and support.
