Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy

This service is available for people who are registered with a GP in the Bristol, North Somerset, or South Gloucestershire area. We hold clinics at various locations across the area:

Bristol

• Brooklea Health Centre
• Charlotte Keel Health Centre
• Hampton House
• Hartcliffe Health Centre
• Knowle Clinic
• Knowle West Health Park

North Somerset

• Marina Health Centre, Portishead
• North Somerset Community Hospital, Clevedon

South Gloucestershire

• Cossham Hospital
• Thornbury Leisure Centre
• Yate Westgate Centre

Our Outpatient Physiotherapy Service provides advice, treatment, and rehabilitation as appropriate for the following conditions:

• Joint aches and pains including osteoarthritis
• Spinal problems including back and neck pain
• Sporting related injuries or conditions
• MSK longer term pain-related conditions
• Rehabilitation following fracture or surgery

You may be invited to an individual or group based session.

When you attend the service, you will receive a thorough assessment and agree a treatment plan with the Physiotherapist to help you achieve your goals.

You need to be referred by a healthcare professional to access this service.  A letter will be sent to you asking you to contact us for an appointment and in due course you will have an appointment at a time that is convenient to you.

Cancelled/missed appointments

It is really important that you let us know if you cannot attend your appointment so that we can offer this to another person. Wasted appointment slots mean that there is a longer wait for other people.
