
COVID-19 service update
Our community dietetics services are currently prioritising urgent patient care. Support may be face-to face or at home, but where possible advice will be given remotely.
Service users who are not receiving urgent care are being contacted to notify them that the service is currently on hold, and will be updated when full service resumes.
Who is this service for?
The service is for adults over the age of 18 who are registered with a GP in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
What we do
We work to help people make dietary changes to prevent and treat nutrition related diseases and their symptoms including:
- Malnutrition and swallowing difficulties
- Diabetes
We offer tailored advice and treatment to help you improve your health and lifestyle, either in a group session or on an individual basis. We also provide training to healthcare professionals and work closely with other professionals to provide care in the community via advice and guidance.
How do I access this service?
You can be referred to this service by your GP or other healthcare professional.
